Ye Olde Renaissance Woman

demo Ye Olde Renaissance Woman rises from the ashes of Ye Olde Font Shoppe. We are no longer publishing small press poetry books but if you're looking to do that email me and I'll recommend a new publisher. However, I moved to Tennessee and have decided to freelance the many skills I have accumulated over my years as a computer programmer, teacher, martial artist, crafter, and poet. Moved to Tennessee

After fifteen years in Connecticut, my itchy feet told me it was time to move south again. The background picture at the top of the page and the pictures in these sidebar items are views from my street. I think I'll stay for awhile. At least another 15 years.

Kyo Sa Victoria Rivas

Martial Arts Bio

Victoria Rivas has almost three decades of Martial Arts Training and holds 2nd degree black belts in three organizations. She has trained in Tang Soo Do, Tae Kwon Do and Kenpo.

Tang Soo Do Masters Alliance

Victoria studied under Master Garth Charland at the Charland Institute of Karate and Fitness in Watertown, CT where she holds a 2nd degree black belt in this style.

Excel Martial Arts

Victoria studied under Master Andy D'Amato for several years, and competed on the IPPONE tournament circuit where she received 2nd place in forms and 2nd place in fighting in Senior Women Black Belt division in 2009.

World Tang Soo Do Association

Victoria studied under Master Robert Beaudoin at the Beaudoin Academy of Karate for about a decade. I coached the demo team for several years and tuaght children's beginner and advanced classes. I hold a 2nd degree black belt and was certified to teach in this style.

Tex Kwon Do

I studied under Mr. Tim Kirby, Mr. Billye "Jack" Jackson and Mr. Ray McCallum for a decade in Garland, Texas. I competed in the Dallas area on the AOK circuit.

Kyo Sa William Etter

William Etter started martial arts at age six amd earned his black belt in October 2010.

Tang Soo Do Masters Alliance

William studied under Master Garth Charland at the Charland Institute of Karate and Fitness in Watertown, CT where he holds a 1st degree black belt.

William studied under Master Andy D'Amato for several years, and competed on the IPPONE tournament circuit where he received 3rd place in forms and 3rd place in fighting in Teen Boys 13-15 Advanced Belt division in 2009.

World Tang Soo Do Association

William began his studies under Master Robert Beaudoin at the Beaudoin Academy of Karate.

Greeneville Tang Soo Do

Greenville Tang Soo Do is affiliated with the Tang Soo Do Masters Alliance.

In our Junior class, students learn respect, self-discipline, confidence, focus and physical fitness as well as the basics of Tang Soo Do. Classes are fast-paced and full of energy.

Our Adult class focuses on discipline, physical conditioning and motivation as well as traditional Tang Soo Do.

The first class is free!!

Class Schedule

We have found a location but the details still have to be worked out. We hope to classes running by March for one three month session before summer vacation.

Classes will be Monday nights. Until the school is established long enough to have a range of belts, classes will be divided by age.

Juniors 12 and under	6:30 pm
Teens and Adults	7:15 pm
Weapons/Sparring/Extra Help Class	8:00 pm

With regards to class cancellations due to inclement weather.

If classes are cancelled I will Twitter and the message will appear in the Twitter feed to the left
If Greeneville or Greene County schools are cancelled and road conditions appear to be unsafe at around 5:00 p.m., chances are that junior and adult classes will be cancelled for that day.
If a storm happens late in the day but school wasn’t cancelled, karate classes are likely to be cancelled.

If a karate class is cancelled by your instructor for any reason, an additional day will be added to the end of the current session schedule. This prevents students from losing a class because of a storm.
