TEAM EXCEL

This month the Excel Martial Arts School began training for the 2010 IPPONE Tournament circuit. Students on Team Excel who are familiar with attending and competing in tournaments helped the new competition team members with training for the upcoming tournaments.

The students are all very excited to be attending these organized karate tournaments located all over New England and are looking forward to the 5^th Annual Excel Tournament here in Terryville during the summer.

One of the new competition parents, Dee Terwilleger, stated that she believed that her sons participation in the tournaments was a positive one. She noticed that the karate students enjoyed a friendly competition between each other and supported each other if any of them did not do as well as expected. The families of Excel Martial Arts School would like to wish all the students luck and wish them well at the tournaments. Train Hard!
